Fishful Thinking Thursday - Never in a million years...

Never in a million years would I have thought to create a floral arrangement using Goldfish crackers and orange roses...
How cool is that? I totally want one on my kitchen table. So cute! Lolli took this shot at the Fishful Thinking luncheon and parenting workshop this past Tuesday up in NYC. (Read more about Lolli's "Fishful" day in NYC and chatting it up with Dr. Reivich!)

Never in a million years would I have thought when I first started posting Fishful Thinking Thursdays that in less than six months time, I would become a FT faculty member and be presenting "The Gift of Time" activity (via speaker phone) with Dr. Reivich, Pepperidge Farm, Mr. Youth, and Family Circle (to name a few) on the receiving end.

Not too mention having pics of my cute kiddos displayed on a FT powerpoint slide during the press conference for all to see -

Never in a million years would I have anticipated how much I would truly LOVE and learn from Fishful Thinking, and how impressed I would be with Pepperidge Farm for taking the initiative to team up with Dr. Reivich to create these simple, everyday, optimism-instilling strategies around things we already do with our kids.

It's all about taking advantage of those teachable moments.

*Just in case you missed it, here are a few tweets that were posted during Dr. Reivich's FT workshop/webcast - #fishfulthinking.

*For a double dose of FT Thursday, come back tomorrow for Photo Story Friday! I'm cohosting with Cecily this week - the gal who introduced me to Fishful Thinking in the first place!

Done any Fishful Thinking lately? Link up!

So true! After the conference I felt blessed to be a part of this!! What a great experience for you.

Can't wait to see tomorrow's post. I would love to know how you and Cecily met. I know her in real life and she introduced me too. I'm so glad to have you for support also, you are such a kind person so it was fun hearing both of my friends Tuesday :)

P.S. I was thinking yesterday as I wrote my post that you need a blinky button like Cecily that I can link my readers to your blog :) Plus it will make my post look fancy.

The Gift of Time activity is one of my FAVORITES. And I love the spin you put on it. It's perfect.
