It's FALL.
I have been in denial.
I'm just not ready to let summer go yet.
Mostly because I had great expectations for this past summer (aka - wanted to spend a week at the beach) and they just didn't materialize.
But I have to let it go. (It's October for heaven's sake. I had to turn my heater on this morning...so depressing.)
Time to switch gears and stop moping.
Time to focus on all the fun FALL festivities.
Maybe take a day trip to the apple orchard like last year...
Awwww...isn't she a cutie? We had such a great time. Abby still talks about it. And I'm sure that Noah will enjoy it even more this year. (I'm sure I'll be chasing him all over the orchard.)
Okay...I'm feeling better. Maybe even a little excited...especially if I can try one of those apple cider doughnuts. They smelled SOOOO good when we were there last year, but the line was so long. Here's hoping! :)

I was the same way last year with the winter! I couldn't admit it was over and was NOT happy about Spring. So I understand. However, I am so HAPPY that it is FALL!! Cute blog, I like reading it! :)

I love fall. Maybe because we don't really have it here in San Diego. It's hot all the way through October. We have to go to pumpkin hunting in shorts and tank tops. *sigh* But I'm sorry you didn't get to take your trip to the beach! Next year you'll just have to go twice!

I love summer and hate to see it go. And this year I won't have time to enjoy fall either. By the time my life settles down it'll be winter and I'll be in a foreign place. Stuck in my house. Wo is me:(
I agree - I'm not ready for fall yet, summer is just too fun and the days are long and the sun shines and well.........fall is here......the days are cooler, the daylight hours are shorter already and sigh.....here's to fun traditions though we are going to the pumpkin patch for the first time this year :)

Girl, don't be scared. Jump right in with your 'oh so cute' scarves and some hot chocolate... It's fun. We can jump in the leaves, and take hay rides. I *heart* Fall, is it showing?
