One of the things I LOVE about our house is that we are surrounded by trees. We've lived in this house for three and half years, and every fall I mean to take pictures of the autumn leaves before they fall off the trees and blanket our yard, but I always miss it....until now! I took this picture last week and within two days, the leaves were already falling. I caught them just in the nick of time. Whew...especially since this may be our last fall in this house.
Abby has been especially excited for the leaves to turn and start to fall. She's been asking for the last two months, "Is it fall yet?...I can't wait to jump in the leaves!"
Huge piles of leaves are never lacking around here...once we start to rake them up, that is. :)

Oh so pretty! I always wish there were more trees around my house this time of year!

Gorgeous - and oh so fun to jump in, but I don't envy you really. We don't have half that much but oh we have a LOT of work cut out for us right now.
I don't like to hear you talking like that about not being in that house for any more falls. I'll be supportive whatever happens, but I hope you'll be able to stay put! :)
I love the leaves. And every year i love raking them. For about a day. The problem is the trees don't drop all of their leaves at the same time. So every Saturday...
We moved this past summer from a house with tons of leaves, to one with almost none. Now they just blow over from the neighbor's yard.
Ohhh my gosh! I always loved when the colors changed!! But I HATED raking ALL the leaves! They seem to NEVER stop!! haha!!
Ok, I know that I live a whole country away, but what is this about not being in that house anymore? Are you guys moving? What am I missing here??
