Friday Confessional: Dirty Little Secret

I Confess:

It's been a chronic problem.

One that I had ignored for far too long and had gotten out of control.

I am hesitant posting this - afraid that it will not paint me in the best light...

But here goes nothing!

A dirty little secret about yours truly...literally.

BEFORE:

Wait...here's the best part -

YIKES!!!!!!!

But I did redeem myself...

AFTER three plus hours of sorting, throwing away, & interruptions from kiddos:

I know, right???

Holy cow!

And, unfortunately, there's a lot more where that came from. (I confess: I honestly haven't quite figured out a system for this house since moving here a little over a year and a half ago. Pathetic, huh? Not that our previous house was the epitome of organization, but it had color, murals in the kids' rooms, and a lot more character. I loved that house. Still, I just need to get over it. This house has its perks too. It's a rental so I can't paint and such, but it does have vaulted ceilings. I do love vaulted ceilings!)

Let the spring decluttering, organizing, rather stick a needle in my eye fun cleaning BEGIN!!!

I have a somewhat organized house...from what you can see. Our one junk drawer turned into two, then three after awhile. It was just so much easier to through everything in one place but NOT so much easier to sort and figure out afterward. lol

There are areas in our house that resemble what you had. My hubby likes the attack piles and "organize". Unfortunately, I can never find what he organizes later.
I like the plants you have.

I love your bread box secret! Everyone has their own little spot of disorganization and chaos for all of the stuff that they don't want to see but can't throw away.

Props to you for getting yours organized!

Happy Friday!! :))

If I could show you my tiny apartment right now, you would feel sooooooo much better about your home! LOL! It's really bad. I need to get back into my groove. But it's hard to find right now.

We just moved here a month ago, and the piles are already starting to accumulate!

So proud of you! I've had the spring cleaning bug too: organizing the garage, cleaning the baseboards, washing the windows etc. It feels really good and is slightly addictive. Am I weird? P.S. I think the plants are cool too.

Ha, ha! You just made me feel so much more normal! I have a pile in my kitchen that looks just like that, I have every intention of having the whole thing sorted and cleaned up by the end of the day. I'll use you as my inspiration! Oh and if you figure out a system for cleaning and organizing your house, please, please share your secret!

Firstly, private credit combination costs incorporate financing costs in view of your advances. This loan cost given is for the most part taking into account the business sector rate right now. In this way, if the business sector rate is high, you will be hit more regrettable monetarily. payday loans
