I was listening to Hilary Weeks (I Will Not Forget) this morning as the kids were playing with their Easter baskets and hiding eggs around the living room. I love this song and just wanted to share...
A Perfect Love
(written by Hilary Weeks and Doug Pincock)
How can I understand
What He Gave just for me
I look up and I breathe the air
Smell the rain and feel the earth beneath my feet.
I touch the breeze and it fills me
With His Love
It's all around me
His perfect love
Lifting me up
He gave his life to His last breath
He lived that I might see
How a perfect love could be
Stars fill the endless sky
As sand slips through my hands
I can't count all His creations
But somehow in the vastness of the worlds He's made
He knows me and He fills me
With His Love
It's all around me
His perfect love
Lifting me up
He gave his life to His last breath
He lived that I might see
How a perfect love could be
Tiny hands and trusting heart
I hold this child in my arms
And I begin to understand what He feels
What He must feel...
The music leads back into the beautiful chorus from there. Every time I hear this song, especially these last few lines, tears well up in my eyes. Just knowing how much I love my kids, the infinite love that mothers have for their children, I am reminded that this love I feel is only a glimpse of how much Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love each of us.
Such a perfect song to celebrate this significant day.
Happy Easter!

Thanks for sharing and I hope you had a wonderful Easter!
That is so awesome. I could only imagine what he feels for us. I feel so blessed to have my perfect little angels be apart of my life every day. They mean the world to me.
As if I wasn't feeling emotional already!
You are such a good mother. Always allowing your children to bring you joy. I need to learn that. They exhaust me and I complain too much. I need to relish in these care free days.
Great song! Just finally had time to sit and surf- wanted to peek in on ya- hope you in fact had a great Easter Weekend. We had Andrea with us so that was fun. I finally posted the Uber Award- thanks! How is the job search coming along for Pat? Keep us posted and give the kiddos a hug and a squeeze!
