Abby read this book to us at bedtime tonight - 97% by herself.
Not even kidding.
"Mom, I'm getting good at reading Dr. Seuss books," she said,
eyes wide and grinning from ear to ear.
I was grinning too.
It's amazing how, all of a sudden, everything starts to click.
The letters, the sounds, the sight words.
It's amazing how fast my baby girl is growing up.
How much she is learning and how much she loves it.
Absolutely amazing.

YAHOO! It is always so great to see our kids succeed. Have you read Mercy Watson books by Kate Dicamillo? When she is ready for her very first chapter book this series is great fun.
That is wonderful! So exciting for you and her. Mr. Brown is one of Will's favorite for me to read to him...

Awesome! I was just at a conference today that talked about when a kid first retells/reads a favorite book. It's a great acccomplishment!
