Sneaky Chef...

Does anybody out there have any good "sneaky" recipes ideas that are healthy for the kiddos & Pat too! My kids are better about eating veggies than their daddy! :) But I know it would be good to get some more servings of fruits and veggies each day. I've also been looking into whole wheat pastas and things. And I've heard flax seed is good too...do you guys hve any tips for me?

Hey Kelli! The blog looks great! Jessica Seinfeld has a recipe book called Deceptively Delicious. It's all about hiding veggies in everyday meals. I've tried a couple of recipes. They're pretty good. I just don't cook very often!

I have the Deceptively Delicious book, too. It's great. They have good recipes in there, but mostly I just apply it to my own recipes and nobody is the wiser! With the whole wheat pasta, I do half regular and half whole wheat, and you can't tell. But I won't even eat it if it's all whole wheat. Good luck!
