My apologies for keeping this exciting bit of news "under my hat" for the last couple of weeks. I have been on pins and needles waiting to blurt it out, but I didn't want to jump the gun and post it for all the world to see (or the handful of people who read my blog) until everything was finalized. But now...
It's official!
I just received the email today welcoming me as the newest Fishful Thinking faculty member!
I can't even tell you how excited I am about this opportunity to work with the other nine faculty members, Mr. Youth, Pepperidge Farm, and Dr. Karen Reivich to help further promote such a great program.
And you thought I posted about Fishful Thinking a lot before... :)
To celebrate this new opportunity, I going to learn how to add "Mr. Linky" to my Fishful Thinking Thursday posts in hopes that more of you will be inspired to link up and share your family's experiences that demonstrate those key ingredients - Optimism, Empowerment, Goal Setting, Emotional Awareness, and Resilience.
(If anyone has any Mr. Linky tips, I am all ears!)
Best wishes to you all in 2010! Happy New Year!

Yeah! Congrats! I am so excited for you. You are going to be so great for the program! :)
Congrats on the new job. Is it a paying job? That would be so awesome. Loved the video of Abby and Christmas pjs. I have always given my kids the same... only from a "Secret Angel" and I would do three gifts. They would "arrive" on our doorstep in bags for three nights straight up till Christmas day. Pjs and books and gloves or ear muffs. I don't do the secret angel any more because I think my kids were too big this year but... I have ever since Makenzie was a toddler. I loved that tradition but... they are growning up. This year I just washed them in the day and since we had company Christmas Eve.. I just laid them out on there beds while everyone was taking their baths or showers. Fun times.... How is it goin? Havent heard from you in a bit so I hope all is well....
Kelli that is soooo exciting! I can't believe that you were able to keep it in for two weeks, I would have been tooting my horn about it the moment that I had any clue that it was happening!
You deserve this more than anyone I know. I don't know of any other person that has the opptimism that you have shown through all of your posts. You are a wonderful mother and you are a great addition to the Fishful Thinking Team!
