Spring Break's Top Ten List!!!

Just having Abby out of school for spring break was wonderful in itself, but we were also able to take a quick road trip to VA to see family. We hadn't been there since September. So without further adieu...

SPRING BREAK'S TOP TEN

1) Meeting (and holding) my BEAUTIFUL 5 month old niece for the first time -

2) Cute cousins together again and all dressed in green
for St. Patty's Day -

3) Abby reading Oliver "The Foot Book" all by herself -

4) A big ol' family dinner at Mexico and seeing
Michael in a sombrero -

5) Perfect weather (EVERY DAY) and a picnic at our
favorite neighborhood park -

6) Making a Krispy Kreme run to celebrate my bro's 17th b'day.
(I told him he had to wear the hat.)

7)Having a strawberry milkshake at Johnny Rockets...
or at least, part of a milkshake -

8) Basking in the sun on the mini-golf course -

9) A ride in Gramma's "new" '92 bmw convertible -

10) Squeezing in a couple quick visits with friends that the kids had been begging to see and visiting with a friend of mine who I hadn't seen since Abby was a baby...and did I mention the perfect 70-degree-sunshine-abundant weather?

*Link up your "Makes My Monday" photos over at Cheryl's place - wish I could have seen her while I was in VA too. The trip was too short!

i am pretty sure i have said this once or twice...or five hundred times....but it was SO wonderful seeing you. the kids have been talking about abby and noah non-stop since you left. i think a visit to alabama may have to be in our summer plans.

I am so jealous. I got to move over spring break with crappy weather helping me almost every day. I was so bumbed. I remember last year it was perfect. This year not so perfect but we made it through.

So I guess this means yours and my Spring Breaks do not coincide? I am glad you got to go home. It's so nice to be able to see familiar faces and feel at home--especially being so far away. I love going home!!
