Am I the only one...???

- who does not have a twitter account? (to tweet or not to tweet...)

- who didn't know that your kids (or you) can have strep without running a fever? (We are all hopped up on amoxicillin over here.)

- who didn't know until recently that if you add both baking soda and baking powder to cookies, they turn out SO much better?

- who secretly wishes my husband's favorite football team would have lost the playoff game last night so I could avoid having to endure another one next week?

- who is still going to watch the Bachelor tomorrow night even though the fact that 25/15/10/5 women completely throw themselves at this one man drives me absolutely crazy...that and the fact that 95% of 'em have implants? Geez!

- who has a major case of cabin fever and has been letting my kids watch WAY more TV than usual due to the bitter cold outside? (We only got a dusting of snow. A dusting. But at least school was still canceled for a couple days. yay! We did at least make five inch tall snowmen and cut out some paper snowflakes.)

- who cannot wait until spring???

You aren't the only one on more than one of those...cabin fever at my house is making us all bonkers. Or at least its making ME bonkers so everyone else is on high alert. :)

I had no idea about the cookies--I'll have to try that!

Can't wait to watch The Bachelor tomorrow nite...but those girls? So ridiculous.

And I totally here you about cabin fever. Ugh. We all have colds, it's freezing outside AND Leo's truck is not working at the moment. *sigh* I'm so w/ya--when will spring get here?!

Oh I'm definitely with you on some of these! I never run a fever with strep, and apparently never did even as a kid, according to my mom. And the football thing... ugh. My poor hubby's favorite team had no chance at the playoffs (yes, he's a Lions fan, enough said), but he is totally into each and every game notwithstanding. So I look forward to the Super Bowl every year - although not for the same reasons as most other people, I would assume, lol. ;)

And YES on the cabin fever and way too much tv as well - spring can come any day now as far as I'm concerned. Sigh. :)

No on the Twitter acct. Don't think I could get into that too!

Yes on the strep thing but not from first hand experience.

I did know about the baking soda and powder thing. Same thing with pancakes, so much better if you use both! :)

Broncos had no chance this year!:( But I got into the AZ game just as much as Tommy today!

No to watching the Bachelor. Watched it one season at the very beginning. Tried again a while back but it made me cringe at how desperate the girls were.

Yes to my kids watching too much TV. And I don't even have the excuse of bad weather!

okay:
1- i do NOT have a twitter account...i'm not even sure what it is
2- the baking soda/baking powder is wonderful and you know i'm glad that you are making happier cookies
3- you KNOW how i feel about all things football
4- i would just like to point out that it is a LITTLE bit hypocritical that you watch the bachelor but you have a problem with twilight because bella is too "needy"...just saying

You are funny. I have to admit I didn't know about the cookies. What do you do half/half?

Also I can't wait until spring. I was thinking that today while I was out on my walk with two layers of clothes pushing a stroller with two kids wrapped up as warm as I could get them. Everything is an ugly brown color. I want the flowers, the green, and most of all the wonderful weather.

I read about your job on Shannon's blog's comments. What is the job.

Love you and miss you guys.

I love reading your blog! Always makes me smile!!
We do no fever with ear infections (haven't had anyone w/ strep...yet), and I only have twitter for the contests I enter ;)

No twitter here either. I just don't get it.

Plus I can live without ANOTHER addiction.

I hear you! Am going to try baking soda and powder next time I make cookies (I usually just use baking soda).

And I'm actually kinda glad the Patriots lost last week (shhhh!) No more football.

But now the countdown is on for baseball season...2 months until spring training for the Red Sox!
